what is Drive in Computer

Today we shall look at what Drive means in computer, it important and use
Definition of Drive
Computer is a machine which
is made up of so many components, this component all works together to achieve
a very good function on the machine and drive are virtually all the whole part
that makes up the PC.
So in summery
So in summery
Drive means a hardware
device in the computer that facilitates and regulates data transmission, data
storage, data regulation, data installation, and system update in terms of
sound and software in stored in the computer.
I know that the above
definition may sound complex for some people, but don’t worry because we are
going to do justice to the definition.
EXAMPLES OF DRIVES IN COMPUTER
a) Hard Disk
Drive
b) Floppy
Disk Drive
c) CD or DVD
ROM Drive
d) Flash Disk
Drive (external Storage Drive)
The above mention hardware
are the major component use in computer and all of the above mention component
all works through the mechanism of internal drive regulation before they can
execute the appropriate command issue by the user by a means of triggering the
action through issuing of signal input to
the computer.

The internal Mechanism of how Drives Devices
like Hard Disk Works are generally control by the machine through the Driver inbuilt
in the computer. Each of those devices like Hard Disk has Drive software like
interface that represent them internally in the PC.

ILLUSTRATION TO SHOW HOW DRIVES WORK
If we want to install
programs i.e. software like office software, we use a drive cable together with
a CD or DVD ROM drive for the installation. When the CD or DVD is inserted into
the CD or DVD ROM drive. The Data in the CD or DVD is being read through the
Drive inbuilt chips on the Drive cable and it is consequently transfer to the
computer through the Drive Cable.
During the cause of the
installation of program or software in the computer, there may be a case where
the Data will not be read properly in the DVD or CD ROM. In such case, the
driver cable may be faulty or not working properly. To fix it, just remove the
drive cable and check the alignment connection, in case if you are not sure how
to fix it just contact a technical personal for it.

The above stated mechanism
is applied to both Hard Disk Drive and other Hardware Device we use in
computer.
